Government Student Loan/Grant Living Expense Assumptions

In addition to your educational costs, living costs/allowances in the context of your household status (i.e. marital status, number of dependents, and whether paying rent/mortgage) are considered as part of your financial needs when your application is assessed for student funding. Do keep in mind, that funding is capped for each type of program length, and may not cover all of your expenses. Please refer to Alberta Student Aid’s Allowable Costs page for complete and up to date details.
