Entrance Requirements
Standard Admission
- Alberta high school diploma, verified by transcript, or equivalent*
- Or completion and passing of a Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam administered by the Elevated Learning Academy**
- Submission of the Alberta Student Enrollment Contract
- For the Personal Fitness Trainer Program completion of PAR-Q verifying applicant’s good health and ability to participate in various strenuous activities. PARQ-Q results may require medical doctor clearance and modification to activities undertaken.
Mature Admission
- Applicant is at least 18 years old
- Passing of a Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam with a minimum score of 14, administered by the Elevated Learning Academy
- Submission of the Alberta Student Enrollment Contract
- For the Personal Fitness Trainer Program completion of PAR-Q verifying applicant’s good health and ability to participate in various strenuous activities. PARQ-Q results may require medical doctor clearance and modicification to activities undertaken.
High School transcripts are not required at the Admissions Appointment but must be presented by the end of the first week of classes. Failure to provide in a timely manner will result in requirement to complete the Wonderlic Scholastic Level Exam. Completion of post secondary education at a Canadian designated institution will usually meet these requirements.
The competency test is a requirement for all students who do not have a Canadian High School Diploma (or equivalent). Students are encouraged to prepare for the test by reviewing online sample questions.

Tuition Fee Includes:
- Application fee
- American Council on Exercise certification
- Gym membership (not available for purely ‘Virtual Classroom’ deliveries)
- All student books and materials
- CPR/AED Certification from Red Cross
- Lectures and labs
- Practicum placement assistance
The total tuition cost is $6,970, $400 of which must be paid at the Admissions Appointment and put towards your application fee.
Debit, credit, cash and cheque are accepted. A payment plan and Government student funding are available for eligible students.
