About Elevated Learning Academy Inc.
Elevated Learning Academy Inc. is dedicated to developing Personal Fitness Trainers.
We base our curriculum on that of the American Council on Exercise (ACE), the world’s largest non-profit fitness certification organization, which is certified by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). Elevated Learning Academy is among 150 of ACE’s other educational partners using this curriculum, ranging from 4-yr university programs to 4-month vocational programs such as ELA’s.
NCCA has reviewed and accredited the certification programs for most professions within allied health care. This includes the credentials for registered dietitians, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, podiatrists, nurses, nurse practitioners, massage therapists, personal trainers, group fitness instructors, and advanced fitness professionals. Both, NCCA and ACE, maintain extremely high standards in curriculum design and execution, and it is this dedication to quality that is shared between them and Elevated Learning Academy.
We are devoted to providing quality education, through the utilization of experienced and knowledgeable instructors, within an interactive learning environment. Upon successful completion of the diploma program, graduates receive a certification not only from ELA, but from ACE as well. In addition to the certifications students advance with many skills that are very unique to ELA, such as business, marketing, sales, money management, job search, interviewing and effective communication.
We are also licensed and designated through the Government of Alberta and it’s Private Vocational Training Branch. Our Federal Education Institution Number is BPMS and the Provincial Institution Number is 7353.
Our Facility:
Forget the boring, old, traditional classroom. In our class space we have every kind of workout equipment you’ll need – from TRX to kettlebells. There are even shower facilities for those that choose to bike to class and a kitchen nook where you can keep your snacks.
